An Overview of the ECT Induction process, roles and responsibilities.

Who should attend? ECTs, Mentors and Induction Tutors.

Session Outline:

For ECTs this session will provide the opportunity to find out what to expect during your ECT induction, your entitlements and what support is available.

ECT mentors and Induction Tutors have a key role and significant responsibilities in the statutory induction arrangements for ECTs.  This session will provide you with the information you need to understand those responsibilities for your allocated ECT(s) including the support and professional development available from the Appropriate Body to help you successfully fulfil the role.

Fee: There is no charge to attend this training.

If an ECT Tutor/Mentor is appointed at a time other than in September and January so the above training is missed, please contact the Appropriate Body for personalised support.

We offer a range of training opportunities, all of which take place at the Education Centre, Stockton Sixth Form College or online.
