Behaviour Management 1 – Understanding Yourself

As you fulfil your journey into teaching you will begin to realise that you are the biggest influencing factor in the classroom. The learners are focussed on you for 6 hours a day and they will tell you if you turn up in the same outfit two days in a row and if you have any little habits you are not aware of because you have their attention all day every day. With this in mind, this session will be reflective on you as a teacher and what you do that impacts behaviour. We will consider body language, tone of voice and choice of language to list just a few. You need to be true to yourself and your personality as a teacher, but I want to support you in being the best teacher you can be whilst being yourself.
