Behaviour Management 2 Managing a class environment. Practical strategies to support behaviour in a classroom
I firmly believe that if your classroom remains the same for every session you teach every year that you teach then the set-up is not driven by the learners but by your needs. This session aims to consider how we consider a range of strategies to support behaviour that meets the needs of the learner and the learning. We will consider rules and routines, classroom environment factors, meeting the needs of the learners, transitions and reward and consequences to list just a few items. No teacher has a magic wand, but reflection and planning can overcome many low-level behaviour concerns and this session aims to provide you with the building blocks to achieve this.
